Day Visits, beginners rides, beach rides

We are happy for day visitors for one-off rides. Whether this is for a two-hour ride on the beach for an experienced rider or a family ride for beginners, we can help you enjoy your riding experience. Please get in touch with your requirements. 

Beginners rides.

We are more than happy to accommodate beginners and novice riders. We go on an hours hack along quiet roads and bridleway, perfect for a family ride together.  Children are well looked after on the lead rein, and nervous adults will also be well looked after. We have hats for you to borrow, foot wear isnt as strict on this ride as the beach however shoes with a small heal would preferable, avoid sandals. Please ask if you are unsure.

EXSPERIENCED RIDERS ONLY! 

Beach rides are a 2 hour ride, (approx half hours hack to get there), you can expect a number of fast canters in the wide open space with no interruptions. Most of the horses are happy to go in the sea! We are very proud of all the great reviews we have received for our beach rides, we really do hope you have a great time with us!

Please read all below before booking a beach ride. Apologies if it sounds a little strict, we  are a very relaxed and happy yard, however the safety of your selves and our horses is paramount and comes above making money.

Before booking a beach ride please be honest with your self and us regarding your experience level. The horses are not sea side donkeys and they will on occasions anticipate some faster canters. You must be capable of mounting, adjusting stirrups and girth independently , have a relatively secure seat and leg position in canter. The school horses are very sweet and judging by the reviews the riders think so too, however it is a different level of riding required than a few strides of canter in an arena. Riders who ride with there feet jammed through there stirrups are unfortunately not suitable for a beach ride with us. Riders must have there own riding boots and fitted hat up to current standards. I apologise again if it all sounds a little strict, unfortunately iv had to update the website as iv had riders arrive for beach rides unable to correctly hold the reins and it's disappointing when i can't give them the experience they were hoping for. 

We do have other hacks your are more than welcome on if you are not quite experienced enough for a beach ride.
